Brides literally wait for Sabyasachi’s bridal collection but that is not what we are going to talk about here. In a video that went viral, designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee enthusiastically applauded a group of kids from a Lucknow slum as they recreated his latest bridal campaign.
In the video, which was released by a Lucknow based non-profit organisation, Innovation For Change, the kids demonstrated their remarkable inventiveness by creating bridal dresses that mirrored Sabyasachi's distinctive style. The video immediately became well-known, inspiring admiration for the kids' creativity and talent on the internet in addition to impressing the designer.
According to Innovation For Change, the entire video was shot by 15-year-olds developing their camera abilities. Each red dress included was designed and worn by the girls in the video, who ranged in age from 12 to 17. This showcases the young artists' creativity and talent.
These gifted kids created ensembles inspired by the traditional bridal styles of Sabyasachi using clothing donations from the local community. Over 400 slum children receive free schooling from the NGO, which claimed that the youngsters' inspiration for this initiative came from a Sabyasachi film they viewed online.
Upon seeing the designer's creations, the young artists made the decision to add their own unique touch to these well-known styles. Their efforts were recognised. The video was uploaded on Sabyasachi's Instagram, and he left a heart-shaped comment on it.
