If there’s one fest that all Lucknowites wait for every year, it is the very popular Repertwahr Festival. What started as a small theatre festival in Lucknow in 2009 as a tribute to theatre maestro Shri Habib Tanveer Ji has today become one of India’s most talked about performing arts festival.
This year, the Repertwahr Festival is back with its 12th edition and it is going to be a melting pot of all things music, literature and culinary celebrations. The fest will take place from 19th – 22nd November 2024 and here’s what’s in store:
1. Rang – Theatre Arena
Repertwahr has brought quality theatre plays in the past from theatre stalwarts like Lilette Dubey, Manav Kaul, Satish Kaushik, Saurabh Shukla and others.
2. Mahol – Music Arena

20th December, Friday, 8:00 p.m. – Thaikkudam Bridge
21st December, Saturday, 8:00 p.m. – Karan Kanchan
22nd December, Sunday, 8:00 p.m. – Agnee
3. Mahol – Comedy Arena
Repertwahr’s comedy genre started in 2017 and ever since, comedians like Zakir Khan, Kunal Kamra, Varun Grover, Harsh Gujral and others have entertained the audience at the fest.

4. Shabd – Literature Stage
